Job summary

Sabrosura Foods, LLC in Monroe, WI is seeking a Packaging Operator for the 3rd shift to run and set up the packaging line, supervise general laborers, and ensure GMP, sanitation, safety, timekeeping and personal conduct rules are followed.

The role requires operating equipment, managing line changes, and maintaining safety; forklift and pallet jack operation certification and strict recordkeeping are part of the job. High school diploma required; food manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and maintain operation of designated packaging line including set up, change over and take down of equipment.
• Review packaging schedule to understand what is needed for set up of the line each day.
• Communicate with respect to safety of production along with meeting customer specifications.
• Must be able to use various types of equipment to run the line.
• Operation of and certification for forklift and pallet jack operation.
• Strict adherence to GMPs; Keep area clean.
• Strict adherence to Safety/PPE protocols and procedures; reporting unsafe conditions to plant management.
• Accurate recordkeeping and specific paperwork.
• Assist in Brine and Panela form cleaning and handling.
• Monitor Metal Detector checks and verifications.
• Verify product specifications such as code dates, labels

This position is responsible for operating all equipment on a packaging line and instruct general laborers efficiencies on the line. This position requires leadership skills with strict adherence to GMP, sanitation, safety, timekeeping and personal conduct rules.

Job Responsibilities
