Job summary

Sabrosura Foods in Monroe, WI, is hiring a Cheese Cutter for 1st or 3rd shift. Starting wage is $19.88/hr with a shift premium of +$2/hr on the 3rd shift. Schedules: 1st shift 4:30am–3:00pm, Mon–Fri; 3rd shift 7:30pm–6:00am, Mon–Thu, with OT as required.

Responsibilities include operating crane and cheese cutter for packaging, loading and labeling, weighing, boxing, palletizing and cutting, while upholding GMP and safety standards and maintaining paperwork accuracy.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Food manufacturing experience preferred but not required.
GMP, sanitation, safety, timekeeping and personal conduct adherence expected.

Schedule:

1st Shift - 4:30am - 3pm, Monday - Friday, OT as required

3rd Shift - 7:30pm - 6am, Monday - Thursday, OT as required, Shift Premium +$2/hr.

Job Summary:

This position involves operating the crane and cheese cutter for packaging including understanding packaging including loading, labeling, bagging, weighing, boxing, palletizing, cutting and some basic sanitation. This position requires strict adherence to GMP, sanitation, safety, timekeeping and personal conduct rules.

JobResponsibilities:

Utilizecranesystemincludingsetup,handcontrols,movingofforms,properloading/unloadingofforms while monitoring cables to prevent twisting and pinching
SetupanduseofGrinderandCutterincludingcarriage/harp/basketalongwithknowledgeofdaily schedule; proper insertion of product and forms as needed
Cheeserecoveryincludingscrapingbottomofpalletsandpansforbrownprocesstubs
Knowledgeofcolorcodesystemusedforprocessingcheeseincludingcheesetypespecificsforproduction
