Job summary

Sabrosura Foods in Monroe, WI is seeking a Sanitation Technician on 2nd shift to perform detailed cleaning of production equipment and facility. You will use chemicals and sanitation equipment, including CIP systems, and must follow GMP, safety, timekeeping, and personal conduct rules.

The role requires sanitation experience in a food production environment and a high school diploma or equivalent, with the ability to lift up to 40 lbs. 2nd shift includes a premium of +$1/hr.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate and certify forklift, pallet jack and walkie forklift
• Conduct CIP and COP tank verifications (chemical concentrations, flow, time, temperature)
• Communicate food safety issues to supervisor or managers
• Observe facility and equipment conditions for compliance
• Perform SSOPs on production tools and equipment
• Document sanitation and production checks
• Follow GMPs, PPEs and chemical handling practices
• Tear down production equipment for sanitation
• Use foaming equipment and clean facility equipment
• Understand chemical usages and purposes
• Verify equipment cleanliness after cleaning
• Follow cleaning methods per color coding program
• Complete Master Sanitation Schedules timely
• Assist Line and Floor Sanitation Supervisors
• All other duties as assigned

This position is responsible for performing detailed, deep cleaning on production equipment and overall facility cleanliness. Using different types of chemicals and sanitation equipment such as Foamers, steam hoses, COP tanks and CIP systems. This position requires strict adherence to GMP, sanitation, safety, timekeeping, and personal conduct rules.

Job Responsibilities

• Operate and certification for Forklift, pallet jack and walkie forklift

• Ability to perform the essential functions of the position, including prolonged standing, lifting, bending, and repetitive movements
• Comfortable working in varying environmental conditions, including exposure to both hot and cold temperatures
