Job summary

PepsiCo’s Cedar Rapids facility is seeking a team member to oversee filling and packaging lines, perform routine equipment maintenance, and ensure product quality and efficiency across shifts.

You will participate in daily cleaning, line adjustments, and data logging while supporting other departments as needed. The role requires flexibility for 12‑hour or rotating shifts and adherence to GMP and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• General knowledge of PCs; good communication and problem‑solving skills.
• Basic math, analytical and technical skills.
• Able to work in a team; adapt to shift changes and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Oversee filling and packaging processes; maintain equipment; perform quality checks for safe packing of products.
• Perform daily and weekly cleaning tasks to meet sanitation standards.
• Set up and adjust machinery; clear jams; monitor glue levels and viscosity; perform quality checks.
• Ensure production lines run efficiently; perform preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Understand product qualities and department processes to maintain standards.
