Job summary

Hallmark Cards is seeking a Packaging Operator in Leavenworth, Kansas on a 1st shift from 7:30am to 4:00pm, Monday through Friday. The role involves setting up and operating production and packaging machines to produce gift presentation products, ensuring quality, and maintaining a safe work environment.

Responsibilities include monitoring equipment, performing maintenance, completing SAP documentation, and collaborating with teammates to meet production targets while upholding safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Ability to grasp, lift and carry product weighing up to 15 lbs frequently and 65 lbs occasionally.
• Ability to stand and walk approximately 90% of the time.
• Ability to reach, twist, bend, perform repetitive motion, and use fine motor skills 90% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, and operate a variety of production and packaging machines.
• Monitor equipment performance, troubleshoot malfunctions, and perform preventive maintenance.
• Conduct quality inspections on in-process and finished goods; remove defective products.
• Accurately complete production, defect, and shipping documentation in SAP.
• Collaborate with team members to solve problems and drive results.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area; follow all safety protocols.
