Job summary

Hallmark Health System, Inc. is seeking a Packaging Operator to set up and run production and packaging lines, ensuring quality and efficiency. The role requires passing quality checks, problem-solving, and adhering to safety protocols in a Leavenworth, KS facility.

The position runs on 1st shift (7:30am–4:00pm), Monday through Friday, with no relocation offered. Physical requirements include lifting up to 65 lbs and standing most of the shift; familiarity with SAP is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to lift up to 65 lbs occasionally and 15 lbs frequently.
• Ability to stand and walk for about 90% of the shift.
• Familiarity with computer/order systems (e.g., SAP) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, and operate packaging machines.
• Monitor equipment performance, troubleshoot malfunctions, and perform preventive maintenance.
• Conduct quality inspections on in-process and finished goods; remove defective products.
• Complete production, defect, and shipping documentation in SAP.
• Collaborate with team to solve problems, drive results, and share process updates.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area; follow all safety protocols.
• Support multiple assignments and departments as needed; demonstrate flexibility.
• Track and replenish packaging materials to minimize downtime.
• Participate in performance dialogues and team problem-solving activities.
• Learn and apply a wide range of quality systems and product specifications.
