Job summary

We Pack Logistics in Maxton, NC is seeking a Packaging Manager to lead the contract packaging and repack function with a strong emphasis on safety, quality, and continuous improvement. You will manage labor, equipment, and materials to meet targets and customer specifications, while driving cost efficiency and operational excellence.

The role requires a hands-on, proactive leader who can optimize staffing, coordinate with production and warehousing, and deliver reliable customer service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or 4+ years related experience.
• Strong written and oral communication.
• Strong leadership skills engaging with all team members positively.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily packaging work to ensure the highest level of customer service.
• Ensure the packaging function operates efficiently and profitably while meeting customer needs.
• Oversee the planning function and personnel for the packaging operation.
• Assist Production Supervisor in staffing levels with internal/external staffing partners to meet timelines and financial targets.
• Collaborate with warehousing to provide seamless, single service for the customer.
