Job summary

BD in Columbus, Nebraska is seeking a Full Time associate to support material handling and production in a clean room. You will inspect, package, and document products, maintain Kanban for raw materials, and operate within BD quality systems.

Requires 2 years of manufacturing experience or HS diploma/GED, ability to read/write English, and familiarity with measurement devices and quality records. Training provided; growth within a global medical tech firm.

Qualifications

• 2 years manufacturing experience required in lieu of HS Diploma/GED.
• Use of measurement devices and quality records preferred.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect packaged product.
• Manual packaging and 100% inspection to packaging requirements.
• Operate in a clean room environment.
• Maintain equipment and preventative maintenance schedule.
• Record accurate inspection data for controlled documents/paperwork.
• Read, understand and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Contribute to continuous improvement of the process.
• Utilize MES to validate, issue, and confirm production orders.
• Tend to overall cleanliness and organization of the equipment and work area.
• Trains associates and answers procedural questions as needed.
• Maintain raw material KANBAN flow for SCF rooms.
