Job summary

BD in the USA NE - Columbus (Molding Center) is seeking a manufacturing associate to perform inspections, material handling, packaging, and inventory tasks in a fast-paced environment. You will adhere to BD quality systems and safety regulations while ensuring accurate documentation and timely communication.

Requires a high school diploma or GED and at least 2 years of manufacturing experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, strong organizational and written/oral communication skills are

Qualifications

• HSD/GED is required.
• At least 2 years of manufacturing experience is required in lieu of HS Diploma/GED.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office with strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform dimensional, functional testing, and visual quality checks according to procedures.
• Communicate non-conforming material to quality group and management.
• Complete all required paperwork/documentation for molded products.
• Pack finished products into cartons and label contents.
• Maintain open communication to resolve problems in a timely manner.
• Perform line clearances of equipment before and after production runs.
• Ensure labels are correct according to work orders.
• Record production issues, defects, and stoppages for analysis.
• Assist in cross-training and on-the-job training of associates.
• Transport materials using hand, forklift, or other methods as needed.
