Job summary

BD is seeking a manufacturing technician to support the Columbus, NE facility’s daily production and quality processes. You will assist with equipment operation, inspections, changeovers, and line clearance while aligning with GMP standards.

The role requires good organization, teamwork, and the ability to train others as needed. You will also perform SAP data entries and maintain clean, compliant work areas in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; two years manufacturing experience preferred.
• MES experience preferred; familiarity with precision measuring instruments a plus.
• Proven ability to work in a team and maintain organized, clean work areas.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a team to maximize effectiveness and efficiency in product inspection and equipment operation.
• Perform visual inspections and basic troubleshooting of equipment.
• Conduct changeovers, line clearance, and cleaning to meet production goals.
• Achieve production rate and quality targets on assigned equipment and support continuous operation.
• Perform SAP data entries and maintain GMP/compliance standards.
