Job summary

BD, USA NE - Columbus, seeks a manufacturing associate for 1st shift (8am-4pm) to perform inspections, operate equipment, and ensure GMP compliance. You will enter SAP data, assist with line changes, and support continuous operations. Previous MES experience and basic measuring tools are preferred. HS diploma and 2 years manufacturing experience required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Two years manufacturing experience required.
• Previous MES experience preferred.
• Experience with precision measuring instruments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a team for maximum effectiveness and optimal task methods, including product inspection, equipment operation, raw material and finished goods movements, and clean room clean/ sanitizing.
• Perform visual inspections.
• Perform basic troubleshooting of equipment.
• Perform line changes, line clearance, and cleaning.
• Achieve production rate and quality goals on assigned equipment.
• Facilitate continuous operation of equipment through breaks.
• Perform rework and cross-train as needed.
• Maintain all quality and GMP standards.
• Enter SAP data as needed.
• May use a 10x microscope, calipers, and other gauges.
• Participate on blitz teams; perform other duties as required.
