Job summary

Kelly Services is seeking a Material Handler in Richmond, VA for the 2nd shift. You will operate and monitor manufacturing equipment, use HMI systems, and ensure quality and safety while maintaining accurate production records.

Prior manufacturing experience and the ability to multitask are required to support production goals. The position offers a strong growth path in a fast-paced environment with a reputable industry leader in manufacturing and comprehensive benefits.

What’s a typical day as Material Handler? You’ll be:

• Operating and monitoring equipment, following SOPs, work instructions, and GMP/documentation requirements
• Using Human Machine Interface (HMI) systems and performing basic machine troubleshooting
• Managing multiple activities or machine operations simultaneously while ensuring quality and safety standards are met
• Completing production records/logbooks accurately and on time
• Identifying and escalating issues proactively and supporting production goals

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Have prior manufacturing experience, preferably in a fast-paced production or industrial environment (required)
• Are familiar with HMI systems and basic machine functions/troubleshooting
• Are a quick learner with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
• Possess strong problem-solving, decision-making, and math skills for production operations
• Are comfortable following SOPs, work instructions, and GMP/documentation requirements
• Can work independently with minimal supervision and demonstrate strong teamwork skills

Highly Preferred:

• Leadership or team lead experience in manufacturing
• Proven accountability for tasks and production goals
