Job summary

PCI Pharma Services in Philadelphia, PA is seeking a Mechanic I for the night shift (Thu, Fri, Sat, 7pm–7am). Responsibilities include minor mechanical/electrical repair, preventive maintenance, changeovers, and troubleshooting on packaging equipment.

You will assist with inspections, installations, and line readiness per GMP/SOP standards. Ideal candidates have a HS diploma or GED and up to 2+ years in packaging or mechanical/electrical maintenance.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
Entrance level or 2+ years in packaging/mechanical/electrical maintenance preferred.
Experience with line equipment and changeovers is a plus.

Responsibilities

Describe all machine controls and their functions.
Identify safety devices and emergency switches on lines and equipment.
Verify understanding of all safety procedures.
Operate all equipment, where trained.
Describe start-up, operation and shutdown procedures for each piece of equipment, where trained.
Select proper tools for machine adjustments.
Prepare lines for daily production.
Perform minor changeovers and preventive maintenance tasks, where trained.
Maintain records and documentation as required.
Exhibit leadership on the line and assist other personnel.
