Job summary

PCI Pharma Services in Philadelphia, PA, is hiring a Mechanic I to support equipment repairs, preventive maintenance and changeovers on packaging machinery within a GMP environment.

You will work Thursday–Saturday night shift, 7pm–7am, performing troubleshooting, line readiness, and documentation. An HS diploma or GED is required; 0–2 years in packaging maintenance is acceptable. EEO statement applies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Entry-level position; 0–2 years packaging or maintenance experience acceptable.
• Ability to read and follow SOPs and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Describe all machine controls and their functions.
• Identify safety devices and emergency switches on lines and equipment.
• Prepare lines for daily production and verify components used on the line.
• Perform minor preventive maintenance tasks and minor changeovers.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and documentation.
