Job summary

Pregis is seeking an experienced Packaging Machine Operator to safely operate and maintain production equipment while meeting quality, productivity, waste, and safety standards. This role is responsible for machine setups, changeovers, troubleshooting, and monitoring production performance to ensure customer requirements and production goals are achieved.

This position also supports the training and development of new operators while contributing to a safe, productive, and team-oriented work

Qualifications

• 2+ years of machine operation experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience performing machine setups, changeovers, and adjustments.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work a 12-hour rotating schedule.
• Commitment to safety and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment safely and efficiently.
• Monitor machine performance and product quality.
• Perform machine setups, adjustments, and changeovers.
• Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues.
• Maintain accurate production and downtime records.
• Support training and mentoring of new operators.
• Follow safety procedures and PPE requirements.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
