Job summary

Pretium Packaging is seeking a skilled technician to start up, operate and monitor production lines in a hands-on manufacturing environment. You will ensure quality, verify set points, perform minor maintenance, and document production data for continuous improvement. Strong reading, basic math, and familiarity with CNC equipment are required.

On-site role with safety and housekeeping priorities, potential fork-truck handling, and opportunities to train others and support process improvements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with mechanical training.
• Experience operating packaging/plastics equipment is preferred.
• Basic math and reading/writing skills as described in job duties.

Responsibilities

• Start up production machines and verify set points are accurate.
• Operate extrusion/blow molding and labeling equipment on the line.
• Monitor machine operation, perform minor maintenance and cleaning.
• Record production and quality data and report issues to supervision.
• Maintain safety and housekeeping rules on the line.
• Assist with training other technicians and provide relief for breaks.
