Job summary

Dieffenbach’s Snacks is seeking a hands-on packaging operator to run our packing machines, maintain proper weights, seal integrity, and consistent seasoning. You’ll prep machines before shifts, adjust for different products, and quickly switch rolls and formers to keep production moving.

• Perform pre-production setup and on-the-fly adjustments for different runs.

• Monitor flow of seasoning to ensure consistent flavor across bags.
• Manually inspect and hand-pack bags to maintain quality standards.
• Assemble boxes, apply labels, and pack cases to customer specs.
• Keep equipment and work area clean; follow GMP and safety protocols.

About You:

What You'll Be Doing (aka Your Daily Mission):

• Run the machines, own the process – You'll operate our packing machines like a boss, ensuring accurate weights, seal integrity, and just the right amount of seasoning.

• Pre-production prep – Get machines ready before the shift starts and fine-tune them on the fly for different product runs.

• Change it up – Switch out rolls of film, adjust formers, and make quick adjustments to keep production smooth.

• Seasoning scientist – Set and monitor the flow to make sure every chip gets the flavor it deserves.

• Inspector mode: ON – Manually check, inspect, and hand-pack bags to keep quality top-notch.

• Box it, sticker it, ship it – Assemble boxes, apply labels, and pack cases to customer specs like a packaging ninja.

• Be a clean machine – Sanitize equipment and keep your area (and yourself) production-ready.

• Safety + Food Quality = Always – Follow all GMPs, safety protocols, and food quality standards.
