Dieffenbach’s Snacks is hiring a 3rd Shift Machine Operator (PMO) in Chambersburg to run our packing lines, ensure correct weights, seal integrity, and proper seasoning distribution. You’ll pre-setup equipment, adjust on the fly, and keep production moving with a proactive, safety-minded approach.

The role requires comfort with lifting and standing, strong teamwork, and the ability to troubleshoot small issues quickly. Pay is $20.75 per hour with a standard shift differential.

About You:

What You'll Be Doing (aka Your Daily Mission):

• Run the machines, own the process – You'll operate our packing machines like a boss, ensuring accurate weights, seal integrity, and just the right amount of seasoning.
• Pre-production prep – Get machines ready before the shift starts and fine-tune them on the fly for different product runs.
• Change it up – Switch out rolls of film, adjust formers, and make quick adjustments to keep production smooth.
• Seasoning scientist – Set and monitor the flow to make sure every chip gets the flavor it deserves.
• Inspector mode: ON – Manually check, inspect, and hand-pack bags to keep quality top-notch.
• Box it, sticker it, ship it – Assemble boxes, apply labels, and pack cases to customer specs like a packaging ninja.
• Be a clean machine – Sanitize equipment and keep your area (and yourself) production-ready.
• Safety + Food Quality = Always – Follow all GMPs, safety protocols, and food quality standards.
