Job summary

American Health Packaging, part of Cencora, is seeking an Operator I for packaging machine operations in Columbus, OH. The role involves setting up and operating packaging equipment, ensuring adherence to SOPs and batch records, and supporting continuous improvement efforts.

A high school diploma or GED and basic math/English skills are required. The position runs Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm with a $21.00 hourly pay (not including shift differential).

Qualifications

• Requires completion of a high school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 2 years of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Must read/write English and have basic math skills.
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork abilities; good organizational skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and use good judgment in production settings.

Responsibilities

• Verify and prepare repackaging material and equipment for production run.
• Set up/changeover packaging machines for production runs per SOPs.
• Operate packaging equipment and troubleshoot per work standards.
• Record batch information accurately and maintain quality standards.
• Coordinate with maintenance for mechanical issues as needed.
• Clean and sanitize production area and equipment.
• Adhere to cGMPs, safety regulations and SOPs.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities to boost efficiency.
