Job summary

Mars Incorporated is hiring a Packaging Machine Operator on a new production line in Lewisburg, Ohio. The role focuses on packaging finished goods to meet QFS and QMP standards and supports safety and efficiency objectives.

New hires are eligible for a $2,500 sign-on bonus. Ideal candidates bring a HS diploma or GED, basic math/reading/writing skills, HMI knowledge, and a collaborative, safety-minded approach.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Good math, reading and writing skills are needed.
• Familiarity with HMIs and basic computer use is preferred.
• Ability to work in a self-directed, team-oriented environment.
• Knowledge of safety, quality and material management systems is desirable.
• Experience with food safety principles is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Operate packaging equipment to meet efficiency and product specifications.
• Perform quality checks and document results per QMP site standards.
• Conduct equipment adjustments, troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
• Support Autonomous Maintenance and supply excellence initiatives.
• Maintain site sanitation and housekeeping standards.
• Participate in continuous improvement to enhance plant metrics.
• Adhere to all food safety and safety programs.
