Job summary

Cencora's American Health Packaging in Columbus is seeking an Operator I - Packaging Machine to support production on the 7:00am-3:30pm shift. You will set up packaging machines, verify materials, and help ensure compliance with cGMPs.

Requires a high school diploma or GED and about 2 years of manufacturing experience. Strong math, reading/writing, teamwork, and problem-solving skills are essential.

Compensation starts at $21.00 per hour plus benefits; a $2,000 sign-on bonus is available.

Responsibilities

• Verify and prepare repackaging material and equipment for production run.
• Set up/changeovers for packaging machines following SOPs and work instructions.
• Operate packaging equipment and troubleshoot as needed.
• Follow escalation procedures for unresolved issues.
• Repackaging raw material into finished product within specs and quality standards.
• Collaborate with maintenance for mechanical issues.
• Clean and sanitize production area and equipment.
• Maintain batch records and document information accurately.
• Participate in training and compliance activities; adhere to cGMPs and safety.
• Support continuous improvement and coordinate with quality to resolve issues.

Apply today!# **Job Details**This role is in support of American Health Packaging, a Cencora business offering pharma packaging services in the US$2,000 SIGN ON BONUS**Shift:** Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm**Pay** $21.00 not including shift differential**Responsibilities:*** Verify and prepare repackaging material and equipment for production run* Responsible for packaging machine set up/ changeovers for production runs. This includes following work instructions for equipment set up/ changeovers and following all work standards and SOPs* Responsible for operating packaging equipment, including troubleshooting and making adjustments in accordance with work standards. Responsible for following escalation protocol in a timely manner when troubleshooting efforts fail.* Responsible for repackaging raw material into finished product that are within packaging specifications and meet all quality standards.* Responsible for working alongside of maintenance when escalation to maintenance support is needed for a mechanical issue* Responsible for production room and equipment cleans/sanitation* Has a thorough understanding of batch record information and using basic mathematical skills, records and prepares accurate and complete information.* Responsible for being actively engaged in all technical training, as well as compliance and other training required as a member of the operations team.* Adheres to all cGMPs, safety regulations and Standard Operating Procedures.* Maintains good housekeeping throughout the shift in the work areas.* Works as a team member with other members of the AHP operations team to meet and/or exceed quality and production goals.* Responsible for being an active participant in continuous improvement activities to promote improved efficiency and effectiveness of the production line.* Work in partnership with supporting areas, such as quality to resolve issues that prevent the operations from achieving its goals.* Performs related duties as assigned.**Education:*** Requires completion of a high school diploma OR GED**Work Experience:*** Minimum 2 years of manufacturing experience preferred.**Skills and Knowledge:*** Ability to read, write and understand the English language for the purpose of reading documents, product labels and instructions.
