Job summary

Cencora is seeking a Packaging Operator for American Health Packaging in the Columbus area. The role supports packaging lines, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 7:00am to 3:30pm and a $2,000 sign-on bonus. Pay starts at $21.00 per hour, exclusive of shift differential.

Responsibilities include preparing materials, setting up packaging machines, operating equipment, and ensuring compliance with cGMP and safety standards. Minimum 2 years manufacturing experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 2 years of manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verify and prepare repackaging material and equipment for production run.
• Set up and changeovers for packaging machines per work instructions and SOPs.
• Operate packaging equipment, troubleshoot, and escalate issues when needed.
• Repackage raw material into finished product meeting packaging specs and quality standards.
• Collaborate with maintenance for mechanical issues and escalation.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the production area.
• Record batch information accurately and complete documentation.
