Job summary

American Health Packaging, a Cencora business, is seeking a packaging technician to support our evening shift. You will verify and prepare repackaging materials, set up packaging equipment, and operate machines to maintain quality and output.

Requires a high school diploma or GED and at least 2 years of manufacturing experience. The role offers a $21.00 per hour pay plus a $2,000 sign-on bonus and benefits within a dynamic production environment.

Qualifications

• Requires completion of a high school diploma OR GED.
• Minimum 2 years of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Must read/write/understand English and be able to read labels and instructions.
• Must possess basic mathematical skills.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills; detail oriented.
• Must be able to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Verify and prepare repackaging materials and equipment for production run.
• Package machine setup/changeovers following work instructions and SOPs.
• Operate packaging equipment and troubleshoot according to work standards.
• Follow escalation protocol when troubleshooting fails.
• Repackage raw materials into finished products within specifications.
• Collaborate with maintenance for mechanical issues.
• Maintain production room cleanliness and sanitation.
• Record batch information accurately and perform basic math.
• Engage in technical training and compliance requirements.
• Adhere to cGMPs, safety regulations and SOPs.
• Support continuous improvement and teamwork across shifts.
• Partner with quality to resolve production issues and achieve goals.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
