Qualifications

• Leadership required; follow policies and demonstrate Shearer's core values.
• Troubleshooting to find root causes on mechanical and automation equipment.
• Basic computer skills to run production and verifications throughout the day.
• Efficient time management; complete changeovers and schedule breaks around activity.
• Flexibility for training period and pre-shift meetings; weekends/overtime as needed.
• Must be able to move, twist, or lift up to 60 lbs and team lift 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate packaging equipment according to recipes and procedures.
• Run and change over 3–5 packaging machines; monitor variables and performance.
• Communicate changes and plans to teammates and supervision.
• Perform product quality tests and data collection as directed by QA/management.
• Follow safety and allergen handling requirements in a high-temperature environment.
