Job summary

Winland Foods in Lee’s Summit, MO, is seeking a Packaging Machine Operator to operate and monitor packaging equipment, ensuring quality and safety on the line. You will manage labeling, packaging integrity, and daily records to support efficient production.

The role runs on a 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM 2,2,3 schedule on-site at 200 NW Victoria Dr, with benefits including medical, dental, vision, and a 401(k) matching plan.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of work experience in manufacturing or food production.
• Forklift certification is preferred (required for Advanced Level).

Responsibilities

• Operate basic packaging machinery (depalletizers, palletizers, conveyors, forklifts).
• Perform equipment changeovers and address issues quickly.
• Record shipments and inventory in SAP; ensure packaging is accurately labeled and weighed.
• Follow GMP, HACCP, SQF, FSMA, and company food safety policies.
