Job Description:

Responsibilities:

• Perform tasks as assigned by the department supervisor.
• Work safely at all times.
• Ensure product specifications are met.
• Complete job assignments cost-effectively.
• Satisfy internal and external customer requirements.
• Arrive at the workstation on time each day.
• Communicate effectively with team members.
• Be flexible with various job assignments and conditions.
• Follow Good Manufacturing Procedures, Standard Operating Procedures, plant rules, and policies.
• Repetitively lift up to 16 pounds.
• Install, remove, clean, and re-tape seal bars.
• Align each bag on the seal bar.
• Maintain pace with the production line.
• Adjust line speed for different products.
• Assist in lubrication of the 8600 machine if needed.
• Start and stop the 8600 machine.
• Assist in setup and tear-down of equipment.
• Report equipment issues to supervisor or lead person.
• Monitor for correct and legible sell-by dates on products.

Qualifications:

• Less than high school education or up to one month of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
