Pay Rate: $18.50 per hour

What’s a typical day as a Packaging Machine Operator? You’ll be:

• Spotting out-bound trucks into material load docks, ensuring dock-locks.
• Reclaiming off-quality Unbonded Loosefill and refeeding the material to the forehearth.
• Packaging operator placing bags on bagger equipment snouts ensuring proper packaging of finished goods material.
• Performing general cleanup duties in designated areas (including, but not limited to, sweeping floor, blowing down the line/robot, cleaning break rooms, etc.).
• Assisting with Preventative Maintenance processes.
• Performing special needs as determined by plant staff.
• Participating in safety and housekeeping programs as established within the plant.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Have a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Have 1 – 3 years manufacturing experience.
• Can read, write, and speak English.
• Can understand verbal and written instructions.
• Possess strong communication and organizational skills.
• Can multi-task.
• Have strong internal and external customer service skills.
• Work well in a team environment.
• Can work independently.
• Have the ability to do intermediate mathematical calculations.
