As a Dodge Machine Operator, you’ll be part of our team located in Danbury, CT. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Operating multi-spindle screw machines, cleaning, packaging, and sorting equipment.
2. Ensuring individual lots are free from mixing, damage, or contamination.
3. Maintaining setups by replacing tooling.
4. Inspecting your work to meet quality standards, meet production goals, and observe safety and housekeeping requirements.
5. Accurately recording all necessary data, including counts and times.
6. Setting up and operating mechanical devices for printing, counting, and packaging to meet requirements.
7. Packing, assembling, and wrapping products for shipment.

Who You Are

You care about quality, love to learn and grow, and embrace innovation. You should have:

1. A high school diploma or equivalent.
2. Strong communication skills and the ability to read blueprints.
3. Experience using a manual micrometer.
4. Mechanic aptitude and computer awareness.
5. Previous machine operator experience is preferred.
6. The ability to stand/walk approximately 95% of the day.

This is a 2nd shift position with hours from 4pm - 2:30am, 3:30am – 1am, or 3pm – 11:30pm. When scheduled for 10 hours, attendance is mandatory Monday - Friday, with overtime paid for hours over 8 per day. Overtime on weekends is also available.
