Responsibilities

SUMMARY: Responsible for monitoring and inspecting machine parts to ensure products meet customer and company requirements.

1. Operate Injection Molding or Lining machines.
2. Use product monitoring systems effectively.
3. Monitor the quality of machine output.
4. Complete any assigned re-inspection work.
5. Grind non-conforming products at the machine.
6. Maintain accurate records and paperwork according to established procedures.
7. Perform quality inspections every two hours and record results in the Automated Data Collection System (Light-House).
8. Perform other duties as assigned.
9. Comply with all safety, quality, customer, ISO, SQF, and regulatory requirements, reporting concerns and suggesting improvements as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant experience is a plus.
• Excellent attendance record.
• Proven ability to operate all production machines in the department.
• Ability to monitor quality of machine output.
• Good housekeeping skills.
• Physical mobility including walking, sitting, bending, twisting, standing, pushing, pulling, and routine lifting up to 35 pounds.
• Visual acuity to distinguish color variations and detect defects.
• Ability to work in a production environment, recognizing various sounds and alarms.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.
• Ability to perform duties safely and effectively.

Salary: $18.20 per hour
