Work Schedule:

Permanent schedule to be determined (2nd or 3rd shift hours). 12-14 week training on a Mon-Fri schedule.

Job Overview:

Packaging Machine Operators are critical to our success at FritoLay! They are responsible for setting up and operating packaging machines and statistical scales to pack quality products efficiently. This role offers growth opportunities within FritoLay or PepsiCo.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Set up and operate multiple packaging machines to ensure accurate coding, weighing, and proper bagging of products.
2. Ensure products are dated and sealed with minimal waste.
3. Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
4. Perform basic preventive maintenance on packaging equipment.
5. Wear protective gear during cleaning and sanitation processes.
6. Inspect conveyors and scales before start-ups and changeovers.
7. Troubleshoot and make operational adjustments as needed.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

This is a physical, 24-hour operation involving standing for long periods, working near heavy machinery, and exposure to varying temperatures. Candidates should be comfortable working in loud environments and handling physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 lbs.

Minimum Qualifications:

• At least 18 years of age.
• Ability to work on weekends, holidays, and various shifts.
• Mechanical inclination and at least 1 year of machine operating experience preferred.
• Physical ability to lift, stand, climb, bend, and reach for extended periods.
• Basic math skills and proficiency in English.
