Job summary

Foster Farms is hiring for production line roles. You’ll cut chicken into segments, pack products, label trays, and rotate through duties on the line. Expect to work in varying temperatures and to communicate with supervisors to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

• Must be able to submit to pre-employment drug test and background check.
• Follow GMPs and all Food Safety procedures.
• Work overtime and weekends as scheduled.
• Stand for prolonged periods and lift up to 80 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Use small hand-held tools (knives, scissors) to cut chicken into segments for product run.
• Pack product into foam trays and/or plastic bags.
• Place labels and arrange on trays filled with chicken parts.
• Repetitive grasping, pushing, and pulling motions while packing, cutting, and grading product.
• Rotate through various production positions during shift.
• Place empty trays and pads on the line.
• Visually inspect and grade chicken parts for production lines.
• Work in cold or hot environments depending on area.
• Communicate with supervision and co-workers for tasks and issues.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
