AppleOne Employment Services is recruiting for a Line Maintenance Mechanic in Chatsworth, CA for a growing manufacturing operation. The role focuses on installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and rebuilding liquid filling and packaging equipment to keep lines running safely and on schedule.

Ideal candidates have 3–5+ years of maintenance experience in liquid filling or high-speed packaging environments, strong mechanical troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work with

Qualifications

• Maintain and troubleshoot production line equipment in liquid filling or high speed packaging environments.
• Perform changeovers, set ups, preventive maintenance, equipment rebuilds, and line support.
• Support production quality, efficiency, safety, and downtime reduction goals.
• Work with mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and automation systems.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals, diagrams, P&ID diagrams, work orders, and setup documentation.
• Knowledge of Lockout/Tagout, GMP practices, SOPs, and safe maintenance procedures.
• Basic fabrication skills using hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and rebuild packaging equipment.
• Perform line changeovers and production set ups per schedule.
• Respond to equipment issues to minimize downtime and maintain quality.
• Read manuals/diagrams and identify parts for repairs.
• Assist engineering with line trials and minor fabrication using tools.
