Job summary

KDC/One in Walnut, CA is seeking Maintenance Mechanics to ensure high equipment reliability and line performance across packaging and filling operations. You will collaborate with Production, Engineering, and Quality to meet schedule, safety, and compliance requirements while performing setups, changes, and preventive maintenance.

Qualifications

• 3-12+ years of maintenance mechanic experience in cosmetics, personal care, food/beverage, pharma, or other regulated manufacturing.
• Prior experience maintaining packaging, filling, bottling, or similar high-speed manufacturing equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with working knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and basic electrical systems.
• Proficiency using hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to troubleshoot, repair, and support production equipment.
• Ability to read manuals, diagrams, and basic technical documentation.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform setups/changeovers and preventive and corrective maintenance on packaging and filling equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and basic electrical issues and perform repairs.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals, diagrams, and P&IDs to support planning and repairs.
• Assist with parts ordering and maintaining critical spares inventory.
• Collaborate with Production, Engineering, and Quality to meet schedule and safety requirements.
• Mentor operators and peers on basic maintenance practices and equipment care.
