Job summary

Custom Filters Direct in Bloomsburg, PA is seeking a Packing Line Lead to guide one production packing line. This hands-on lead role works directly with the team while owning line performance, quality, productivity, staffing, organization, and equipment operation.

Responsibilities include leading the line, operating the packaging machine, addressing minor issues, training new employees, maintaining safety and packing standards, and ensuring the line runs smoothly to meet daily goals.

Qualifications

• Previous packing, production, manufacturing, or warehouse experience preferred.
• Previous Line Lead, Team Lead, or similar leadership experience preferred.
• Previous quality control, quality inspection, or product inspection experience required.
• Comfortable operating packaging machinery and learning the production line machine.
• Ability to work as a working lead alongside the team and perform duties.
• English/Spanish bilingual preferred but not required.
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify quality issues.
• Dependable with strong attendance in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the packing line team on a daily basis.
• Operate the packaging machine as part of daily production tasks.
• Monitor the line quality, address minor issues, and ensure standards.
• Keep the packing line organized, productive, and efficient.
• Assign employees to work areas and clarify responsibilities.
• Inspect finished products and packaging for quality defects.
• Communicate issues and needs to supervisors and management.
• Train new employees on procedures, quality expectations, and equipment.
• Ensure safety, attendance, and line readiness to meet goals.
