The role requires keeping line run efficiency high and waste low while maintaining safety standards. Responsibilities include setting up equipment, monitoring changeovers, and ensuring accurate packaging and weights at process points.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to train packers, stackers and machine operators.
• Ability to identify safety warnings and operate packaging equipment safely.
• Must work in a fast-paced environment and be a team player.

Responsibilities

• Oversee line activities to ensure smooth and efficient production.
• Review daily plans and ensure employees understand requirements.
• Verify line progress and address quality or safety issues with teams.
• Ensure staff training and provide support for breaks and line readiness.
• Perform line change-overs and prepare line for next shift.
• Calculate waste and run efficiencies and report findings.
• Prepare bulk pack, load/unload materials, and maintain packaging lines.
