Job summary

A leading manufacturing company located in Geneva is looking for a skilled mechanic to diagnose, repair, and maintain packaging and support equipment. The ideal candidate will have over 7 years of experience in a manufacturing environment and possess advanced troubleshooting and mechanical maintenance skills, including knowledge of PLC systems and ability to read blueprints. This role involves conducting line changeovers, preventive maintenance, and supporting engineering during installations. A strong initiative and communication skills are also essential in this dynamic position.

Qualifications

• 7-plus years of mechanic experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Completion of a mechanical or electrical apprenticeship, or military technical training is strongly preferred.
• Advanced technical knowledge of machine shop operations and electric motors.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain all packaging and support equipment.
• Conduct line changeovers and make necessary set-up and adjustments.
• Utilize data from CMMS and MES to solve mechanical and electrical problems.
