Job summary

Paylocity is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to repair and maintain complex processing and packaging equipment across our Illinois facilities. You will train and mentor less experienced technicians while performing preventive maintenance and rapid troubleshooting to minimize downtime.

In this 1st shift role, you will work with electrical, mechanical, and fabrication tasks, read blueprints, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school.
• Comprehensive knowledge of machine troubleshooting, electrical, mechanical, and fabrication.
• Experience with OSHA, cGMP, and lock-out/tag-out is required.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain packaging and processing equipment, including gear boxes, pumps and conveyors.
• Perform predictive and preventative maintenance per CMMS guidelines.
• Assist engineering with installation of new equipment and read blueprints.
• Mentor less skilled maintenance staff and participate in root-cause analyses.
