Job summary

creative werks in Bartlett, IL is seeking a maintenance technician responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing and setting up production machinery and equipment on packaging lines. You will perform preventive maintenance and assist during product trials, ensuring production and quality goals with high safety standards.

The role requires 1-2 years of industrial maintenance, ability to read manuals, operate a CMMS (ManagerPlus), and train operators on autonomous maintenance.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of industrial maintenance experience required.
• Experience in food environment preferred.
• Ability to perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair.
• Supply own tools.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals to service equipment.
• Proficient with CMMS (ManagerPlus).
• Excellent communication at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and basic troubleshooting on packaging lines.
• Perform packaging line setups.
• Provide Maintenance support during product trials.
• Assist with and train Operators on autonomous maintenance procedures.
• Manage parts and inventory to ensure timely maintenance and repair operations.
• Log work in CMMS as required.
• Resolve work requests that come in via radio calls.
• Escalate issues using the help chain and participate in communications.
• Receive training from other Maintenance Technicians and Supervisors.
• Maintain 5S standards and a clean and safe work area.
• Enforce safety, discipline, cooperation, and teamwork; comply with OSHA and GMP standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Management.
