Job summary

Paylocity is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to repair and maintain packaging, processing, and plant equipment. The role includes mentoring lesser skilled maintenance staff and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have an associate degree or equivalent with 2+ years of related experience or 5+ years in related fields, strong troubleshooting, electrical and fabrication skills, and proficiency with safety standards such as OSHA and cgMP.

Qualifications

• Requires an A.A. or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school plus two years related experience, or five years related experience.
• Strong knowledge of machine troubleshooting, electrical, mechanical, fabrication, pneumatics, hydraulics.
• Familiarity with OSHA standards and cgMPs; lock-out/tag-out experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, operate, maintain, repair, lubricate, and troubleshoot complex packaging machinery and related equipment.
• Perform predictive and preventative maintenance per CMMS.
• Assist engineering in installing new equipment and troubleshooting with cross-functional teams.
• Maintain spare parts inventory and keep shop and parts areas organized.
• Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
