Job summary

e.l.f. Beauty seeks a Manager, Packaging Engineer based in the LA office to drive packaging development for Naturium and related brands. You will align sustainability goals, perform technical analysis, testing, and decoration execution while coordinating with global teams.

The role requires a BS in Packaging Science or Engineering and 5+ years in cosmetic package development, with strong knowledge of PCR/PIR packaging and supplier networks. Expect a hybrid work model and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Packaging Science or Engineering
• 5+ years’ experience in cosmetic package development
• Concentrated experience in beauty industry and skin care/fragrance/color categories
• Knowledge of global supplier community and PCR/PIR structures
• Understanding of manufacturing and distribution for global product launches
• Packaging expertise in sustainability and best practices

Responsibilities

• Provide expertise in packaging development and process engineering for sustainability and compliance life cycle projects.
• Drive sustainable design and materials for packaging and support social/environmental responsibility.
• Collaborate with creative, sourcing, and China teams to implement PCR/PIR material with premium color matching and documentation.
• Lead supplier negotiations to meet or exceed gross margin and target costs.
• Update Naturium portfolio with PCR/PIR content and compliance documents.
• Own the Declaration of Conformity implementation across the portfolio.
