Job summary

Campbell’s is seeking a Packaging Engineer to develop and implement packaging technologies for the Italian & Frozen category, spanning primary, secondary and tertiary packaging. You will work with Marketing, CCID and Supply Chain to balance consumer needs with manufacturing capabilities.

Required: Bachelor’s in Packaging or Mechanical Engineering and 3+ years in packaging development; travel up to 25%; highly organized. Salary range: $95,200–$130,900, with benefits starting on day one.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Packaging or Mechanical Engineering required.
• 3+ years in packaging development; co-op/internship strongly preferred.
• Highly organized with attention to detail and able to adapt to changing priorities.
• Travel domestically and internationally up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and develop packaging components and systems to meet business and consumer needs.
• Drive cost savings through component and process improvements.
• Execute packaging testing and line trials to validate performance.
• Support manufacturing during commercialization and packaging changes.
• Write technical specifications and review drawings for packaging components.
