Job summary

Milwaukee Tool is seeking a Packaging Engineer to design and develop packaging that supports product and merchandising goals. You will work with Engineering and Marketing, coordinate testing plans, and help drive cost-effective packaging solutions.

You will partner with Manufacturing, Purchasing, and Quality to resolve packaging issues, travel as needed, and stay current with packaging technologies and competitor offerings. A BS in Packaging Engineering and 3+ years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Packaging Engineering required.
• 3+ years of packaging development experience for consumer retail goods.
• Knowledge of packaging materials (corrugated fiberboard, paperboard, plastics, films).
• Understanding of manufacturing methods (paperboard, corrugating, thermoforming, injection molding, printing).
• SolidWorks and Artios CAD proficiency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design packaging that supports product and merchandising needs across functions.
• Coordinate testing plans to validate new packaging.
• Manage multiple packaging projects with timelines and cross‑functional teams.
• Provide technical consultation to Manufacturing, Purchasing, Engineering, and Quality on packaging.
