Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or other relevant field.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to produce information clearly with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Prior experience working with customers and developing mutually beneficial solutions.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects; strong critical thinking and analytical skills.
• Ability to identify and solve problems.
• Prior manufacturing experience preferred.
• Six Sigma certification preferred.
• Proficient in CAD preferred.
• Must have a valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the complete packaging development process, including design, prototypes, and testing.
• Establish standards for master labels.
• Review part packaging for cost savings and space optimization.
• Resolve customer packaging complaints with manufacturing collaboration.
• Identify and implement cost-saving packaging initiatives.
• Manage master packaging data for materials.
• Troubleshoot packaging issues involving designs, materials and processes; provide timely solutions.
• Create packaging Work Instructions and provide training.
• Develop specialty packaging methods for non-standard items.
• Review customer labeling and packaging specs; respond to packaging information requests.
• Maintain updated packaging drawings for all parts.
