Job summary

HellermannTyton North America is seeking a Packaging Engineer who will design, test, and implement packaging solutions aligned with our product launches. You will review existing designs, establish labeling standards, and work with suppliers to drive cost savings and space optimization.

The role requires strong communication, the ability to manage multiple projects, and a focus on delivering high-quality packaging solutions while maintaining compliance with Quality and EHS certifications.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills and ability to produce clear, concise information with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects with a focus on delivering cost-effective packaging solutions.
• Experience working with customers to develop mutually beneficial solutions.
• Knowledge of packaging materials, processes, and cost-saving initiatives is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee packaging development from design to prototype, testing, and implementation.
• Establish standards for master labels and packaging drawings.
• Review packaging for cost savings and optimize space usage in boxes and warehouses.
• Troubleshoot packaging issues with manufacturing and suppliers to find timely solutions.
• Create packaging work instructions and provide training for operations personnel.
