Job summary

Greenheck Group is seeking a Packaging Engineer Co-op for January–August 2027 to support packaging design, development, testing, and supplier coordination. You will work on crates, skids, corrugated materials, and foam components, ensuring protection, manufacturability, and transportation efficiency.

The role involves creating drawings and specifications, evaluating prototypes, and researching packaging materials and industry trends to drive cost savings and sustainability.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in a related bachelor's degree program.
• On track to graduate in the next 3 semesters.
• Interest in hands-on learning and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with Excel and working with data.

Responsibilities

• Support the design and development of packaging solutions, including crates, skids, corrugated materials, and foam components.
• Create and update packaging drawings, specifications, and documentation.
• Build, coordinate, and evaluate prototypes and packaging testing with suppliers, including ISTA testing.
