Job summary

The Foth Companies in Green Bay, WI invites a Mechanical Engineering Co-op to join our Packaging Systems Team. You will apply classroom knowledge to support design, analysis, and implementation of custom packaging systems for industrial clients.

Based in Green Bay, this Summer/Fall 2027 opportunity provides hands‑on experience on material handling equipment, packaging machinery, automation systems, and production line improvements, with client site visits.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering Technology.
• ABET-accredited program required or expected.
• GPA of 3.0 or greater.

Responsibilities

• Support the design, evaluation, and improvement of packaging systems and production lines
• Assist with packaging line assessments and develop engineering recommendations
• Contribute to engineering deliverables such as equipment specifications, layouts, and testing plans
• Perform engineering analysis and calculations to support project design and execution.
• Participate in equipment testing, commissioning, and startup activities
• Gain hands‑on experience through site visits and travel to client and vendor facilities
