Job summary

fresh, a global skincare brand within the LVMH Group, seeks an Associate Manager, Packaging Development to advance gifting, limited-edition, and sampling packaging programs. You will collaborate with Marketing, Product Innovation, Packaging Design, and Operations to deliver innovative, sustainable packaging that elevates the Fresh experience.

You will manage external vendors, drive concepts through execution, and ensure quality, manufacturability, and market readiness while upholding brand

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years relevant experience in Packaging Development (preferred in Gifting).
Broad and in-depth knowledge of packaging materials and processes.
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with internal partners and external vendors.
Self-motivated and self-disciplined, able to work in relative autonomy.
Proficient PC skills - MS Office and capable of building presentations on Excel/PowerPoint.
CAD literacy is a plus.

Responsibilities

Lead the development and qualification of packaging solutions for gifting, limited-edition, and sampling initiatives, balancing brand aesthetics and manufacturability.
Partner with Packaging Design, Marketing, Product Innovation, Purchasing, and Operations to translate concepts into viable packaging experiences.
Drive packaging development from concept through execution, including design generation, prototypes, tooling qualification, testing, and set assembly.
Own milestones within project timelines and resolve cross-functional roadblocks.
Collaborate with external vendors to explore new formats, materials, constructions, and sustainable solutions.
Manage external packaging vendors and suppliers, building partnerships to develop technical solutions and address challenges.
Create and maintain package component specifications, pre-Bills-of-Materials, Fill & Assembly specs, and QC requirements.
Coordinate with Design to ensure color development, decoration, artwork, and proofs meet expectations within constraints.
Conduct and oversee testing (transit, functionality, homologation) to ensure quality and market readiness.
Attend set assembly and manufacturing start-ups to ensure proper execution of design and function.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues across suppliers, manufacturing, distribution, and quality.
