Job summary

Fresh in Jersey City, NJ, seeks an Associate Manager, Packaging Development to drive innovative packaging across gifting, limited-edition programs, and sampling initiatives. You will partner with Marketing, Product Innovation, Design, and Operations to elevate the brand’s packaging experience.

You will manage external vendors, champion sustainable packaging, and lead projects from concept through execution, ensuring quality and market readiness while aligning with Fresh’s distinctive sensorial

Qualifications

BS/BA in Package Engineering/Technology/Science or related engineering field.
Minimum 3 years relevant experience in Packaging Development (preferred in Gifting).
Demonstrated knowledge of packaging materials and processes.
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
Self-motivated and able to work with relative autonomy.
Proficient with MS Office; CAD literacy is a plus.

Responsibilities

Lead development and qualification of packaging solutions for gifting, limited-edition, and sampling initiatives.
Collaborate with Packaging Design, Marketing, Product Innovation, Purchasing, and Operations to translate concepts into feasible packaging experiences.
Drive packaging development from concept to execution including design, prototypes, specifications, testing, and set assembly.
Own milestones within project timelines and resolve cross-functional roadblocks.
