Job summary

AJM Packaging Corporation in Joplin, MO is seeking a Production Foreman to lead a high-speed manufacturing team on the 3rd shift (11:30 PM – 7:00 AM). You will ensure safety, quality and on-time delivery while maximizing uptime and efficiency.

You will supervise staff, assign work, review performance, and train personnel to raise knowledge and skills. You will track inventory, order supplies, and coordinate procurement to keep operations running smoothly.

Qualifications

• High-speed manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Supervisory experience and leadership skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure team is working in a safe manner and following PPE, GMP and LOTO procedures.
• Review and manage team to ensure quality in form, fit, function, and SQF manufacturing.
• Manage staffing of machines and placement of personnel to maximize uptime and efficiency.
• Supervise staff: assign tasks, provide instruction, review work, support performance appraisals.
• Track inventory levels of supplies and procure items as needed.
• Provide ongoing training to increase staff knowledge, skills and abilities.
