Job summary

Milwaukee Tool is seeking a Category & Sourcing Leader for its US Packaging portfolio. You will own end-to-end sourcing strategies, influence supplier relationships, and align with Engineering, Operations, and Finance to drive cost savings and growth.

This role requires a highly analytical and collaborative professional who can lead cross-functional initiatives, negotiate favorable terms, and travel domestically up to 25% to support global growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, commodity management, or supply chain leadership.
• Proven experience managing supply bases and high-growth product categories.
• Strong negotiating skills with a track record of negotiating, implementing and managing supply contracts, and delivering savings.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to develop cross-functional partnerships and influence stakeholders across functions.
• International sourcing/supply chain development is a plus.
• Aggressive, determined individual with excellent interpersonal, verbal, written, and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel domestically up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end management of the US packaging component portfolio.
• Develop and execute global sourcing strategies, including tariff mitigation, dual sourcing, and capacity expansion.
• Partner with US site leadership to align sourcing with operational needs.
• Oversee relationships across domestic supply base, driving quality, delivery, and innovation.
• Lead RFPs & RFQs, contract negotiations (MSA), and execution to secure favorable terms.
• Lead new product development in packaging from a procurement perspective.
